Resources Page

Please note that this page gets updated, so check back often!

Over the years, I have discovered that having a resource page is valuable for any blog.

Below, you will find many links (some of which are affiliate links) in one place, which can make it easier to find the products they’re interested in.

Also, please note that, as with all affiliate links, there is no additional cost to you. It is how I pay for the blog, web hosting, and purchasing new gear to review. I will generally get a small commission for directing you to amazing products.

In addition to our affiliate links, I will include a list of our favorite products, along with detailed reviews and recommendations.

As a reminder, I only promote products I have personally used and believe in. Honesty is the best policy!

This resource page will be regularly updated with new products and links, so be sure to check back often to see what’s new.

I welcome all suggestions from you, too.

If there’s a product you’d like us to review or include on our resource page, don’t hesitate to let us know!

Additionally, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, remember to contact us; we will be more than happy to help.

GEAR & PRODUCTS

When it comes to outdoor activities, having the right gear and products can make all the difference in your experience.

I remember being younger, I loved to buy gear but couldn’t wait to get the “good stuff.” Since working in the outdoor industry, I’ve had access to items that I would have never dreamed of.

It’s truly amazing what the quality of gear can have on your outdoor adventures.

Whether you’re an avid hiker, camper, or rock climber, having the proper equipment can ensure that you stay safe, comfortable, and prepared for any situation.

Let’s get to some places I go to for my gear.

Amazon
This doesn’t need any explanation, as I think pretty much everyone orders from them.
But, here you go, it’s my affiliate link that will take you to their website.

Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS)
If you are interested in getting some epic deals on outdoor gear, check EMS out!
They have a huge selection and great prices.

AeroPress
If you are new here, I love my coffee.
The AeroPress has been the best way to make my daily cup for years.

Black Rifle Coffee
Speaking of coffee, this is the BEST company and coffee I’ve found.
You can check out my review for more info, but just know it’s good!

Jackery
I have a few of their portable power banks.
You can check out my blog for more info.

Bottle Bright
If you are having trouble or searching for a way to clean your water bottles or reservoirs.
I’ve used these for years and tell everyone about them!

Wyze Security Camera
Over the years, I’ve gone through a few different cameras.
These have been the best, by far, and can be used inside as well as outside!

HEALTH & FITNESS

Health and fitness become very important if you are an avid outdoor person or want to get into outdoor adventures.

I’m a firm believer in doing anything that gets you outside. Being in good health and physical shape can enhance your experience and help you perform better.

If you are just starting out, start by going on daily 10-minute walks, parking in the back of the parking lot, and always taking the stairs.

Once you’re ready, it doesn’t matter if you are planning a multi-day hike, a camping trip, or a rock climbing adventure. It’s important to prepare your body for the physical demands of these activities.

Here are a few things I have used that have made a world of difference.

Athletic Greens
If you are looking for a way to get your daily vitamins and minerals, look no further.
Honestly, I would be shocked if you haven’t heard of AG1, but check them out.
By clicking the link above, they are even offering a few freebies!

Tapp Brothers
I’ve been a fan of the Tapp Brothers for a very long time.
The link above will take you to one of their training courses, which has been amazing.

BUSINESS RELATED

At first, I wasn’t going to include this section, but I’ve had a few questions about how I’m running this blog and my business.

So, whether you’re just starting or looking to grow your business, a variety of resources are available to help you achieve your goals.

Here are the things I use and recommend to people who are in the same boat.

Wealthy Affiliate
There are a few training programs I’ve purchased over the years.
This is one of the best places to learn about business, affiliate marketing, setting up a website, and having web hosting all in one place. Read more here. Oh, and did I mention it’s FREE to sign up?

Grammarly
You may already know this, but I suck at spelling.
Having someone look over your shoulder to help you out is needed, especially if you are a writer.

Jaaxy
If you are a writer, you need to look into getting a keyword search tool.
There are a ton out there, but I’ve been using this one (and it’s part of Wealthy Affiliate).

LawDepot
I use this for both personal and business.
Whether you need a business contract or filling, you will. This company has you covered.
Check out my full review here.

Market Briefs
There is a ton of information out there about financial topics.
This is my daily newsletter to see what is happening in the financial world.
Generally, it’s a quick read and will keep you updated.

Morning Brew
This is my go-to newsletter for news!
I watched the news on TV, but it always seemed to upset me.
My fix is this newsletter, which has become something I enjoy reading daily.

Pimsleur
If you want to learn a new language, you should check these guys out.
This has been on my bucket list for years, but I never seem to have enough time.
If you do check them out, let me know! I would love to see how you like their lessons!

Plug and Law
I’m so happy I found this website. It’s the quickest and easiest way to set up all the “required” website documents!
Coming soon: Read my full review here!

And, Last But Not Least
Something everyone should sign up for

The Daily Drop
If you like to travel and find deals and hacks, this newsletter is for you.
I’ve been reading it since it started, and there are some epic deals and ideas.
Stop thinking about it and check it out for yourself.
You can thank me later!
