Today, I want to take a minute to talk about achieving your goals with simple lifestyle changes. Yes, I know, I have written about this a few times, but it’s really been on my mind recently.

My goal here is to share the awesome video I found and get your feedback on what you think about it. This is going to be a quick post, but I think you should watch the YouTube video!

Finding Inspiration

I cannot remember where I found this video, but I think it’s a good one. You will see that the concept can be applied to pretty much anything. Be aware that it’s 18 minutes, but well worth it.

The video that I will link below really got me thinking. I remember in school, and I never liked writing. Fast forward to today, I have a blog!

Over the last few okay many years, I’ve wanted to start my own business. Well, guess what? I’m actually now working on it. This is all while having a full-time job and other life commitments.

You can accomplish a lot when you break things down into small chunks, which I wrote about a few months ago. Here are the links to two of the posts.

The YouTube Video

Let’s get back to the video that I was talking about.

I really do think you should watch the video below to see what I’m talking about. It really makes a lot of sense. Who knows, you just might get inspired.

This video also reminded me that I have many podcasts on my phone. I listen to a few, such as this one, but I still find myself turning on music when driving or walking around.

Think about all the things you can learn if you stopped and really thought about the little slivers of time you have thought your day!

What Are Your Thoughts?

Now that you have watched it, what do you think? Was it worth 18 minutes of your day?

Have there been any goals that you have wanted to achieve that you haven’t done yet?

I would love to hear your answers to the above two questions and what you think of the video.

Leave me a comment below!

There Really Is Enough Time In The Day

If you have a few minutes each day, which you know you do, it’s easy to accomplish anything you want.

On a personal level, I have always wanted to read more. The crazy part is that I’m doing it!

If you aren’t aware, I downloaded the Kindle app on my phone. What I love is that the app keeps track of my reading.

I like it as I’m a nerd at heart and like data like this. It’s similar to playing video games. You keep leveling up until you are UNSTOPPABLE!

Having small attainable goals is the key here. For me, it started with a week, then moved to a month. After I achieved those, it turned into 6 months. Now, I’m looking forward to hitting 500 days in a row!

This small goal will happen before I am leaving on my next Road Trip TOO!

The other thing to realize is that this goal of mine, reading more, is only counted via the Kindle phone app. It doesn’t including the classes I’m taking, emails, other blogs, newsletters, and so on.

Now I want to hear from you.

Let me know in the comments below what you think about the video. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts and if you found any inspiration or ideas from it.
